At Beau’s Braai Seasonings, we are committed to providing high-quality products and complying with your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable consumer protection laws.
This policy explains your rights relating to returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations for purchases made through Beau’s Braai Seasonings.
Your Consumer Rights
Under UK law, products supplied must be:
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
- As described
If your goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy.
Food & Perishable Goods
For health, hygiene, and food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened food products unless they are:
- Faulty
- Damaged
- Unsafe
- Incorrectly supplied
- Not as described
Unopened products may be eligible for return in accordance with this policy and your statutory rights.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible and ideally within 48 hours of delivery.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photographs of the product and packaging where possible
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:
- A replacement
- A refund
- A price reduction
- Store credit (where agreed)
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Your Right to Reject Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of receiving them and receive a full refund if the products do not meet legal standards.
After 30 days, we may first offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Change of Mind & Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for online purchases.
However, this right does not apply to:
- Sealed food products that have been opened after delivery
- Perishable goods
- Products unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once opened
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order.
Returned items must be:
- Unopened
- Unused
- In their original packaging
You may be responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.
Refund Processing
Once approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.
We reserve the right to withhold refunds until returned goods are received or proof of return is provided.
Return Shipping
Where returns are accepted:
- Customers are responsible for return postage costs for non-faulty items.
- We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
